The meaning

Ah yes, I wanted to explain the design for the shirt, it isn't just random stuff.

First-the form

All examples start of from the very basics, to be able to be an example, one must have the foundation to be that example. In conjunction to this, shapes are the very foundation of things all around us. And design is definitely one of them. Thus, basic shapes are applied into the design, starting from one simple square, then expanding to various shapes. The empty shell in the shape shows that all of us are not perfect, there will never be anyone who is perfect except God himself. To me, even the best example is not perfect, only God is.

That one arrow pointing upwards would show that the shape is continuously expanding, and to be an example, we cannot be stuck in the same place, if we do, we'll never move forward.

Second-the font

Simple and elegant (in my opinion anyway). Easy to read, easy to understand. The phrase, "Be an example, guide the way" is for all of us to take up as Christians, that way, others will know how God shine in our life, and will truly be inspired not just by words, but by our very actions.

"Are you being an example?" at the back reminds us, which is self-explanatory. Are we being an example? Are we being Sons of God?

That's really what I wanted to share through the shirt, my regret and apologies that I won't be able to join you guys. But my school doesn give ur breaks that easily, haha.

New Front up

The first design up, of course, if this gets accepted, I would send the high res file over straight away.

Frankly speaking, I personally wouldn't use this color. Speaking from a designer's point of view. Purple is usually not used with metrosexual shirt type such as this. How would I put it, it does not suit, that's all. But if it's the client's wish, then what can I say.

I'll upload the new back design later at night.

Again, I'll say that I don't like the colour.
